Born in Vienna, I began my musical training at an early age studying piano. At sixteen, inspired by bands like Chic, Earth Wind And Fire and Tower Of Power I first laid hands on a bass guitar and I knew that playing bass was what I wanted to do. I started playing in bands with school friends and later went on to study music in Vienna. In 2003, after having worked as a freelance bass player for a few years I moved to London in search for new musical opportunities.
I soon started gigging in and around London and eventually joined a rock band, touring the UK. In keeping with rock band tradition, we split up after a short stint of being signed to Sony Music.
In 2007 I joined Go West, who I’ve since been recording and touring with. Other live and studio engagements followed with bands such as Sister Sledge, Cheryl Cole, Holly Johnson, Andy Abrahams and The Dhol Foundation.
After jamming a few ideas together with some very gifted musicians I decided to record and release my album ‘Solid State’ in 2010. Click here to listen on Spotify and iTunes.
I’m currently playing for Go West, Holly Johnson and The Rewind All Stars.. soon at a music venue or festival near you.
